My Lord,
I am much joyed to find by the
duplicate of Your Lordship’s, which I
received by the express, Your Lordship’s sense so conformable to what
I have acted in your service, and
an approbation by way of advance of
the charges I have put Your Lordship
to in buying these studios.
La Nave hath received the 15m ducats
and the man who with Basford treated
the business, by agreement, had for
his pains 500, which is near the whole
sum Your Lordship hath given me
credit for here, as I shall make it
appear hereafter by the accounts
I intend to send Your Lordship. That
